Mawi Beach

Mawi is a small, dramatic bay framed by rocky cliffs and open ocean. The beach itself is beautiful and relatively undeveloped, but it’s best known for powerful, consistent waves that attract more experienced surfers. Swimming is not recommended due to the reef and strong currents; most people come to surf, relax on the sand, or enjoy the view from the simple bamboo shacks that serve drinks and snacks.
